SSC MTS & Havaldar Syllabus 2025

The Computer Based Examination has two mandatory sessions on the same day. Session I contains 40 questions for 120 marks in 45 minutes. Session II contains 50 questions for 150 marks in 45 minutes.

There is no negative marking in Session I. In Session II, 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer. Both sessions are mandatory, and Session II starts immediately after Session I closes.

Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving

  • Coding and decoding
  • Analogy
  • Following directions
  • Similarities and differences
  • Jumbling
  • Problem solving and analysis
  • Non-verbal reasoning based on diagrams
  • Age calculations
  • Calendar and clock

General Awareness

Session II · 25 questions · 75 marks
  • Social Studies including History, Geography, Art and Culture, Civics and Economics
  • General Science up to 10th-standard level
  • Environmental Studies up to 10th-standard level

English Language and Comprehension
