    Solution. The original sum is 34 × 6 = 204. Replacing 20 with 50 changes the sum to 204 − 20 + 50 = 234. The new average is 234 / 6 = 39.

    Solution. The three consecutive odd numbers are 25, 27, and 29, whose average is (25+27+29)/3 = 27, so the largest is 29.
