Digital SAT
The Digital SAT adapts and this practice does not. Each official section runs in two modules where the second module's difficulty follows from the first, so no fixed-form set reproduces it; what is built here is 54 Reading and Writing questions in 64 minutes and 44 Math questions in 70. Nothing is deducted for a wrong answer, which makes leaving a question blank strictly worse than marking something on it, however little time is left when you reach it.
The SAT exam pattern below is checked stage by stage, so one stage cannot inherit another stage's scoring rules.

Timing: Single composite 64-minute timer for all four domains combined: no sectional lock. This is a TakeMockTest-defined fixed-form timing, not a replica of the official two-module adaptive timing.
The official Digital SAT Reading and Writing section is delivered as two adaptive 27-question modules (module 2's difficulty depends on module 1 performance), each passage followed by a single 4-option multiple-choice question. This practice mock uses a fixed, non-adaptive set of 54 questions covering all four official content domains, scored on raw correct count; the official test reports a scaled 200-800 section score instead.

That works out to about 71 seconds per question on average, before any time spent reading instructions or revisiting marked answers. The 4 sections are Craft and Structure, Information and Ideas, Standard English Conventions and Expression of Ideas. Craft and Structure carries the most, 15 marks of the 54 or about 28%, against 11 marks for Expression of Ideas. All sections share one composite timer, so you are free to move between them and spend your time where it earns most.
SAT Reading and Writing marking scheme
- Each correct answer is worth 1 mark.
- There is no negative marking, so leaving a question blank can only cost you: an unattempted question and a wrong one score the same zero. Attempt everything.
- Worked example: attempt 43 of the 54 questions and get 32 right and 11 wrong, and you score 32 out of 54.
