FMGE Exam Pattern

FMGE is the screening examination conducted by NBEMS that Indian citizens and OCIs holding a primary medical qualification from outside India must pass before registration to practise. It is a computer-based test of 300 single-best-answer multiple-choice questions carrying 1 mark each, taken as two papers on the same day: Part A of 150 questions in the morning and Part B of 150 questions in the afternoon, each lasting 150 minutes. There is no negative marking, and an unattempted question scores zero. A candidate qualifies by scoring at least 150 of the 300 marks, that is 50 per cent, with no separate cut-off for either part.
