One hundred and eighty minutes for 100 questions is 108 seconds each, unusually generous at this level, and there is no sectional time limit to spend it for you. All five sections are exactly equal at 20 questions and 80 marks, including Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which appears on no other major MBA entrance and is worth precisely what Quantitative Techniques is worth. Flat weighting and a free clock together mean nothing in the format rewards or punishes the order you choose. With 4 marks up and 1 deducted, break-even sits at one in five.

Timing: Single composite 180-minute timer for all five sections combined: no sectional lock, matching the official test's own no-sectional-time-limit rule.
The official CMAT (conducted by NTA) has 100 questions for 400 marks in 180 minutes, 4 marks per correct answer and -1 for a wrong one, with no sectional time limit, across five equal 20-question sections: Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. This mock now covers all five sections at full official scale. General Awareness and Innovation & Entrepreneurship were excluded from an earlier build of this mock as content-risk; that exclusion is lifted here because the General Awareness bank is entirely static, evergreen general-knowledge fact recall (constitutional articles, geography, science constants, historical monuments, international-institution headquarters) with no current-events dependency, and the Innovation & Entrepreneurship bank applies definitions to stated scenarios and short calculations (break-even, contribution, working capital) rather than testing bare terminology recall, unlike the format this project had earlier assumed for both sections.

- Each correct answer is worth 4 marks.
- A wrong answer deducts 1 mark; an unattempted question scores zero.
- A guess therefore breaks even at 20% accuracy: above that it gains you marks on average, below it loses them. A blind guess between four options is right 25% of the time, which is already above that line, so an educated guess is worth making rather than leaving the question blank.
- Worked example: attempt 80 of the 100 questions and get 60 right and 20 wrong, and you score 220 out of 400.
