Three scoring categories and two locked papers. Category 1 pays 1 mark with 0.25 deducted, Category 2 pays 2 with 0.5 deducted, and Category 3 is multi-select with a maximum of 2 and no negative marking at all, so a single subject mixes three different risk profiles. On timing, Paper I is Mathematics alone for 120 minutes and auto-submits, then Paper II gives Physics and Chemistry a separate 120 with no return. The official schedule puts an hour between the papers on exam day, which this practice does not add as working time.

That works out to about 93 seconds per question on average, before any time spent reading instructions or revisiting marked answers. The 3 sections are Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Mathematics carries the most, 100 marks of the 200 or about 50%, against 50 marks for Chemistry. Marks per question are not uniform across sections either, so an equal number of questions does not mean equal weight. All sections share one composite timer, so you are free to move between them and spend your time where it earns most.
