JELET-2026 Paper-I is the lateral-entry route for Diploma in Engineering/Technology, B.Sc., D.Voc. and B.Voc. candidates; Paper-II (Diploma Pharmacy) is out of scope. Each section mixes Category-1 (single-correct MCQ, +1 correct/-0.25 wrong) and Category-2 (multi-select, +2 for selecting all and only the correct options, 0 for selecting any incorrect option, and 2 × selectedCorrect / totalActuallyCorrect for a proper correct-only subset, with no negative marking) questions: Mathematics 30+10, Physics 25+5, Chemistry 15+5, and Fundamentals of Electrical & Electronics Engineering 10+0.
