The paper you sit holds 150 questions; the rank you want is computed from 120. The official booklet contains Mathematics 60, Physics 30, Chemistry 30 and a separate Biology 30 for the agriculture, veterinary and horticulture route, and the Polytechnic Engineering MPC rank is generated from the 120 that exclude Biology. Those 120 are what this page shows. Mathematics is half of them, heavier than most polytechnic entrances weight it, so a revision plan divided three ways gives the deciding section a third of its due. Nothing is deducted for a wrong answer.

The current official physical TG POLYCET 2026 paper contains 150 questions: Mathematics 60, Physics 30, Chemistry 30, and a separate Biology 30 for candidates seeking the agriculture/veterinary/horticulture route. The same official booklet separately generates an MPC Rank out of 120 marks for Polytechnic (Engineering) admissions. This mock is therefore a platform-defined 120-question MPC-filtered simulation aligned to that official MPC rank, covering only Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. It is not a claim that the complete physical official paper contains only 120 questions. That works out to about 75 seconds per question on average, before any time spent reading instructions or revisiting marked answers. The 3 sections are Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Mathematics carries the most, 60 marks of the 120 or about 50%, against 30 marks for Chemistry. All sections share one composite timer, so you are free to move between them and spend your time where it earns most.

- Each correct answer is worth 1 mark.
- There is no negative marking, so leaving a question blank can only cost you: an unattempted question and a wrong one score the same zero. Attempt everything.
- Worked example: attempt 96 of the 120 questions and get 72 right and 24 wrong, and you score 72 out of 120.
