SSC JHT (Combined Hindi Translators) Mock Test 2026

A free SSC JHT mock test series, listed here under the official name Combined Hindi Translators. Paper I is 200 objective questions for 200 marks in two hours, split evenly between General Hindi and General English. Every SSC JHT online test here is free to attempt.

Paper I is two halves of 100 questions, and each half has its own 60-minute timer. Once the General Hindi hour closes it does not reopen, so minutes saved there cannot be spent rescuing General English. That is 36 seconds a question on both sides. The marking is 1 mark for a right answer and 0.25 off for a wrong one, so an attempt pays whenever you would be right more than one time in five. On coverage, this SSC JHT test series is Paper I. Paper II is descriptive, translation and essay work rather than multiple choice, and it is not built here.

General Hindi · General English. Negative marking: 0.25 per wrong answer. Each part has its own 60-minute timer. Once a part closes, unused time cannot be moved to the other part..

Paper II is a 200-mark descriptive paper with Hindi to English translation, English to Hindi translation, and one essay in each language. It is not modeled here because an MCQ interface cannot reproduce descriptive translation and essay writing accurately. Paper I marks are used to shortlist candidates for Paper II.

Frequently asked questions

How many SSC Combined Hindi Translators mock tests are available here?

This page currently has 9 syllabus-checked tests for SSC Combined Hindi Translators: 2 full-length mocks, 4 sectional tests, and 3 quick practice tests.

Are these SSC Combined Hindi Translators tests based on the official pattern?

Yes. Every checked SSC Combined Hindi Translators test matches the official pattern's question count, marks, duration and negative marking, and the source document is linked with the date it was last read. For the paper, that is 200 questions for 200 marks in 120 minutes.

How long does a SSC Combined Hindi Translators mock test take?

A full-length SSC Combined Hindi Translators mock here runs 120 minutes, matching the official working time for the paper it reproduces. The timer starts when you begin and the test submits itself when time runs out, so it is worth starting one only when you can sit it through. The shorter tests on this page run from 10 minutes, for when you do not have a full sitting free.

Do these SSC Combined Hindi Translators mock tests have negative marking?

Yes. Every SSC Combined Hindi Translators test here deducts 0.25 marks for a wrong answer and scores an unanswered question zero, the same as the official scheme it is checked against. Your result breaks out what the deduction cost you, so you can see whether guessing helped or hurt.

Should I start with a full-length SSC Combined Hindi Translators mock or a sectional test?

Start with a full-length mock if you have not sat the whole SSC Combined Hindi Translators paper under its official timer before: it is the only thing here that tells you whether you can finish in time. Move to the 4 sectional tests once the full mock has shown you which section is costing you marks, and use them to rebuild that one section rather than re-sitting the whole paper each time.

Are these SSC Combined Hindi Translators mock tests free?

Yes. All 9 SSC Combined Hindi Translators tests on this page are free to attempt, with no account and no paid tier holding back better questions.
