The official SAEEE pattern lists Mathematics/Biology as the alternative first subject; this TakeMockTest stage is the PCM route (Mathematics, not Biology). Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology conducts SAEEE online, based on the Class 12 syllabus. Each correct answer earns 1 mark; there is no deduction for a wrong answer, and an unanswered question also scores zero.

That works out to about 60 seconds per question on average, before any time spent reading instructions or revisiting marked answers. The 3 sections are Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. All sections share one composite timer, so you are free to move between them and spend your time where it earns most.
SAEEE B.E./B.Tech PCM marking scheme
- Each correct answer is worth 1 mark.
- There is no negative marking, so leaving a question blank can only cost you: an unattempted question and a wrong one score the same zero. Attempt everything.
- Worked example: attempt 48 of the 60 questions and get 36 right and 12 wrong, and you score 36 out of 60.
