Is this official PTE content?
No. It is an independent practice mock containing original passages and questions mapped to the official PTE Academic Reading task types and scoring rules.
Why does this mock only cover 2 of PTE Reading's 5 task types?
The official section has five task types: Multiple Choice (Single Answer), Multiple Choice (Multiple Answers), Re-order Paragraphs, and two Fill in the Blanks formats. Re-order Paragraphs uses drag-and-drop sequencing and both Fill in the Blanks types use dropdown word selection, formats this practice engine cannot render, so this mock covers only the two multiple-choice types.
How is the Multiple Choice: Multiple Answers question scored in this mock?
You earn 1 mark for each correct option you select, as long as you don't include any incorrect option. Including even one incorrect option scores zero for that entire question, this site's own scoring model rather than PTE's official proprietary partial-credit formula.
Is there negative marking in PTE Reading?
No penalty beyond the Multiple Answers scoring rule above. A wrong Single Answer choice, or an unattempted question, simply scores zero.
