A free PTE Academic Reading practice series covering the two multiple-choice task types, Single Answer and Multiple Answers, as a fixed 20-question set in 25 minutes. Every PTE online test here is free to attempt and returns a section-wise result the moment you submit.
This covers two of the five official task types, and the three it leaves out are the ones that make PTE Reading distinctive. The official section is a single 32 to 41 minute block with 15 to 20 questions across five formats, and Re-order Paragraphs, Reading Fill in the Blanks and Reading and Writing Fill in the Blanks all use drag-and-drop or dropdown mechanics rather than choosing an option. Those reward structural reading, following how a text is put together, which is a different skill from the comprehension the multiple-choice questions test. Practise those separately. Nothing is deducted here, so answer everything.

Single composite 25-minute timer for both task types combined: no sectional lock. The official PTE Academic Reading section is a single 32-41 minute timed block with 15-20 questions across five task types: Multiple Choice (Single Answer), Multiple Choice (Multiple Answers), Re-order Paragraphs, Reading: Fill in the Blanks, and Reading and Writing: Fill in the Blanks. Re-order Paragraphs uses drag-and-drop sequencing and both Fill in the Blanks types use dropdown word selection, formats this practice engine cannot render, so this mock covers only the two multiple-choice task types. PTE scores the full test on a 10-90 scale with its own proprietary partial-credit formula; this practice mock shows a raw score using this site's own partial-marking model instead (see each Multiple Answers test's scoring note), not PTE's official scaled score.
