Regular first-year Odisha B.Tech admission uses JEE Main 2026, not the main OJEE examination. This stage covers the later 2nd/Special OJEE 2026 B.Tech entrance, used only to prepare a merit list for vacant B.Tech seats remaining after JEE Main / first-round counselling. The official 2nd/Special OJEE pattern notice confirms a computer-based test, English medium, four-option single-correct MCQs, +4/-1/0 scoring, and a syllabus matching JEE Main 2026 (four-option MCQ format only, not JEE Main’s numerical-answer questions).
