NMAT Exam Pattern

Timing: Three separately timed sectional locks (10, 15, and 20 minutes), in fixed order (Language Skills, then Logical Reasoning, then Quantitative Skills): once a section's time runs out or you move on, you cannot return to it, matching the official NMAT's fixed per-section time limits with no time carryover.

The official NMAT by GMAC has 108 questions for 324 marks (+3 for each correct answer, no negative marking) in 120 minutes, across three equal 36-question sections: Language Skills, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Skills. Each section has its own fixed time limit with no carryover between sections: Language Skills 28 minutes, Logical Reasoning 40 minutes, Quantitative Skills 52 minutes. The official exam also lets candidates choose the order of the three sections before starting; this mock always uses a fixed order (Language Skills, then Logical Reasoning, then Quantitative Skills) since the engine does not support a pre-test section-order choice. This mock covers all three sections in equal proportion: 36 questions (12 per section), with the same three separately timed sectional locks, scaled down proportionally (10, 15, and 20 minutes), and the same +3/no-penalty marking scheme. All three sections are skill-based (vocabulary and comprehension, logical puzzles, and calculation), not fact-recall, so no section needed excluding for content-risk reasons, the cleanest content-risk profile of any Management exam on this site so far.
