NCHM JEE Syllabus: Sections and Topics Covered
National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination 2026
English and Aptitude for the Service Sector carry 75 of the 120 questions between them, and the coverage under the second is what makes this paper unlike any other on the site: it tests judgement about service situations rather than a body of knowledge, so no chapter list prepares it. Numerical Ability, Reasoning and General Knowledge take 15 each. One limit on the last of those: the questions built here stop at a 25 April 2026 cutoff, so use them for the recurring subject areas rather than for the news.

For the syllabus itself, read the exam body's own document, because a topic list assembled from a question bank can be narrower than the syllabus and never wider in a way you should trust.
How many questions are there in the NCHM JEE paper, and how long is it?
The paper is 120 questions for 480 marks in 120 minutes. Wrong answers are penalised 1 per question. Knowing that alongside the syllabus is what turns a topic list into a plan: it tells you how many marks each section is actually worth and how many minutes you can afford per question.
How do I practise the NCHM JEE syllabus?
