The PCM route (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) deliberately selects Mathematics over Biology; each PCM section is 25 questions split 20 multiple-choice plus 5 numerical fill-in-the-blank, while English is built as 25 multiple-choice questions since the current pattern table gives English 25 questions without an English-specific fill-in-the-blank subdivision. Every question carries 4 marks with no negative marking, for 400 total marks in 150 minutes.
