JEECUP / UPJEE(P) 2026 Group A Engineering & Technology is conducted by the Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh for admission to Group A polytechnic diploma courses. The current official 2026 brochure directly fixes Mathematics at 50% and Physics & Chemistry jointly at 50% of the paper; it does not publish an internal Physics-versus-Chemistry split, so the combined 50-question section is kept as a single 'Physics & Chemistry' section rather than an invented 25/25 split. 100 four-option MCQs for 400 marks in 150 minutes, +4 per correct answer with no negative marking. An unanswered question scores zero.
