Is this an official IBPS SO question paper?
No. It is an independent practice mock containing original questions mapped to the official IBPS SO Prelims syllabus and pattern.
Is there a separate timer for each Prelims section?
Yes. Each of the three sections (English Language, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude) has its own separately timed 40-minute window. You cannot shift unused time from one section to another.
Why do English Language questions carry fewer marks?
Per the official pattern, the 50 English Language questions carry 25 total marks (0.5 marks each), while Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude carry 1 mark per question. This mock reproduces that exact weighting.
Does this cover every IBPS SO post?
This mock covers the Prelims pattern shared by IT Officer, Agriculture Field Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, and Marketing Officer (Scale I). The Law Officer and Rajbhasha Adhikari track uses General Awareness instead of Quantitative Aptitude, and is not covered here.
