GPAT Exam Pattern
Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test 2026
The GPAT exam pattern below is checked stage by stage, so one stage cannot inherit another stage's scoring rules.
GPAT 2026 Computer-Based Test
Review pendingGPAT is conducted by NBEMS as a single computer-based paper of 125 multiple-choice questions for 500 marks in 180 minutes, in English only, with 4 marks for a correct answer and 1 mark deducted for an incorrect one. Unattempted questions score zero. The paper is not divided into separately timed sections, so this mock presents all 125 questions under one section labelled Pharmacy. The official material does not publish a fixed per-subject question distribution, and secondary sources disagree even on how many subject groups the paper is described in, so the allocation used here (Pharmaceutics 30, Pharmaceutical Chemistry 30, Pharmacology 25, Pharmaceutical Analysis 12, Pharmacognosy 10, Biochemistry and Human Physiology 8, Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Biotechnology 5, Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence and Pharmacy Practice 5) is a TakeMockTest editorial balance across the B.Pharm syllabus, not an official weightage. The pattern is marked review-pending rather than official for the same reason it is on NATA and JAM: natboard.edu.in cannot be reached from the environment that maintains this catalogue, so the question count, marks and marking scheme above rest on consistent secondary-source corroboration rather than a directly read information bulletin.
