Timing: The official paper gives one unrestricted 180-minute window covering both sections. The 90 minutes used here is a proportional TakeMockTest timer for the Section A half, not an official sectional time limit..
Section A only, and all 50 of its questions are compulsory. Section B is excluded for a runtime reason rather than a content one: the official paper displays 150 Section B questions and lets a candidate attempt any 50 of them, and this engine has no attempt-cap control, so a Section B mock could not enforce the rule that actually defines it. Section A is set at 10+2 level and covers General Science, Mathematics, Chemistry, General Aptitude, Analytical Ability, Quantitative Ability and General Biotechnology. Each correct answer earns 3 marks and each wrong answer deducts 1.

- A wrong answer deducts 1 mark; an unattempted question scores zero.
- A guess therefore breaks even at 25% accuracy: above that it gains you marks on average, below it loses them. That is exactly the 25% a blind guess between four options gives you, so guessing at random is neither gaining nor losing marks over a long paper — the moment you can rule out even one option, it starts paying.
