SLAT exam pattern

Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension

Official 2026 pattern
Questions: 24
Marks: 24
Duration: 24 minutes

Logical Reasoning · Legal Reasoning · Analytical Reasoning · Reading Comprehension. Negative marking: 0 per wrong answer. Single composite 24-minute timer for all four sections combined: no sectional lock, matching the official test's single continuous session.

The official SLAT written test has 60 questions for 60 marks in 60 minutes, 1 mark per correct answer, no negative marking, across five equal sections of 12 questions each: Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, and General Knowledge. This mock covers Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, and Reading Comprehension only, in the same equal proportion: 24 questions (6 per section) in 24 minutes. Every Legal Reasoning question here states its own legal principle and facts in the passage, matching SLAT's own stated design that the section tests logical deduction from a given principle rather than memorised law. General Knowledge is not covered, since it depends on facts that carry higher correctness risk for self-authored content.
