Frequently asked questions
Is this an official SEBI Grade A question paper?
No. It is an independent practice mock containing original questions mapped to the official SEBI Officer Grade A Phase I, Paper 1 syllabus and pattern, common to every stream.
Is there a separate timer for each Paper 1 section?
No. Paper 1 uses a single composite timer of 60 minutes for all four sections combined (General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Test of Reasoning) and you can move freely between them. There is no sectional cut-off within Paper 1, only an overall cut-off of 30%.
How does Paper 1 relate to Paper 2?
Paper 1 and Paper 2 are both part of Phase I but are separately timed blocks, modelled here as two separate tests. Paper 2 tests subject knowledge specific to your recruitment stream (this mock covers the General stream).
Is there negative marking?
Yes. Each question in Paper 1 carries 1.25 marks, and a wrong answer deducts one-quarter of that (0.3125 marks). Unattempted questions score zero.
Drill Test of Reasoning beyond SEBI Grade A
20 of the 80 questions here are pure reasoning, and reasoning is the one part of a paper that is not exam-specific: a seating puzzle does not change because it appears in a bank paper rather than a railway one. Our Logical Reasoning section pools 750 such questions from across every exam on this site and sorts them two ways: by difficulty, so you can find your level, and by topic, so you can drill the family that costs you time.
It is practice, not simulation: there is no negative marking there, so a score in that section is not comparable with your score here. Use it to build the skill, and come back to this test to rehearse the exam.
