Frequently asked questions

Is this an official RRB Technician question paper?

No. It is an independent practice mock containing original questions mapped to the official RRB Technician Grade I Signal CBT syllabus and pattern.

Is there a second stage CBT for this post?

No. There is only one CBT for Technician Grade I Signal. It directly decides shortlisting for Document Verification, which is limited to the number of notified vacancies, so this single test is what determines your entire objective merit.

Is there a separate timer for each section?

No. All five sections (General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basics of Computers and Applications, Mathematics, and Basic Science and Engineering) share a single 90-minute timer, so you can move freely between sections within the overall time limit.

Is there negative marking?

Yes. A correct answer earns 1 mark, and a wrong answer deducts one-third (0.33) of a mark. Unattempted questions score zero.

Drill General Intelligence and Reasoning beyond RRB Technician

15 of the 100 questions here are pure reasoning, and reasoning is the one part of a paper that is not exam-specific: a seating puzzle does not change because it appears in a bank paper rather than a railway one. Our Logical Reasoning section pools 750 such questions from across every exam on this site and sorts them two ways: by difficulty, so you can find your level, and by topic, so you can drill the family that costs you time.

It is practice, not simulation: there is no negative marking there, so a score in that section is not comparable with your score here. Use it to build the skill, and come back to this test to rehearse the exam.
