RRB ALP

RRB ALP stands for Railway Recruitment Board: Assistant Loco Pilot and is a recruitment examination in the Railways group. It is conducted in 2 stages (CBT 1, CBT 2), each with its own paper and marking scheme.

The age band is 18 to 30 years as on 1 July 2025. Candidates need Matriculation plus an ITI in a specified trade, or Matriculation plus a completed apprenticeship in a specified trade, or a 3-year diploma (or degree) in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Automobile Engineering.
