Frequently asked questions
Is this official OET content?
No. It is an independent practice mock containing original texts and questions mapped to the official OET Reading Part C format.
Why does this mock only cover Part C of OET Reading?
The Reading sub-test has three parts: Part A is typed short-answer and matching rather than multiple choice, and Part B uses 3 answer options per question rather than 4. Part C is the only part in the 4-option multiple-choice format this site supports, and this mock matches its full official question count.
Can this mock's score predict my OET Grade B?
Not on its own. OET grades are based on all 42 marks across Parts A, B, and C combined, and this mock covers only Part C's 16 marks. A strong Part C score is a good sign, but it can't substitute for practicing Parts A and B as well.
Is there negative marking on OET Reading?
No. Each correct answer earns a point, with no deduction for a wrong or unattempted question.
