NIFT Mock Test 2026
A free NIFT B.FTech General Ability Test practice series. The GAT runs 150 questions in 180 minutes, split into Section A of 100 questions over 120 minutes and Section B of 50 over a further 60. Every NIFT online test here is free and scores instantly.
Section B is a third of the questions and most of the marks. The official 2026 B.FTech GAT weights Section A at 30% toward merit and Section B at 70%, and Section A is 100 questions while Section B is 50. Per question, Section B is worth several times what Section A is, which inverts the effort most candidates put in: Section A is longer, comes first and feels like the exam. Section A also auto-submits at 120 minutes with no return, so the hour you have left for Section B is protected whether you want it or not. One caveat on scoring: the raw mark out of 150 this practice reports is not the official weighted figure, because the weighting is applied to the sections rather than the questions.

The official 2026 B.FTech GAT weights Section A 30% and Section B 70% toward merit; this raw practice score out of 150 is not that weighted official score. Official GAT is CBT and bilingual English/Hindi; these approved practice banks are English text only, which is a platform limitation, not a claim that the real exam is English-only. GK/Current Affairs content is frozen to a 2026-02-08 cutoff. Regular B.FTech has no Stage 2 (no CAT/Situation Test/Interview).
