Frequently asked questions
Is this an official MICAT question paper?
No. It is an independent practice mock containing original questions mapped to the official MICAT syllabus.
Do I need another exam score before I can take MICAT?
Yes. MICAT is only open to candidates who have a valid CAT, XAT, GMAT, or CMAT score, so it isn't a fully standalone admission test on its own.
How many times a year is MICAT held?
MICAT is conducted twice a year, in December and January, giving candidates two separate sittings within the same admission cycle.
What is the MICAT negative marking scheme?
Each wrong answer deducts 0.25 marks. There is no deduction for an unattempted question.
