Four marks for a correct answer and a full mark off for a wrong one is the harshest ratio among the integrated-programme entrances, and it is what should govern your attempt rate. Break-even sits at one in five, so a blind guess across four options is roughly neutral and eliminating one option turns it clearly positive, but a paper full of half-guesses will cost more than it returns. The three sections are almost exactly equal at 33, 33 and 34 questions, with no sectional time limit, so the whole 150 minutes is yours to allocate at 90 seconds a question.

The official JIPMAT (conducted by the National Testing Agency for IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu) has 100 questions for 400 marks in 150 minutes, 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark negative for each wrong answer, with no sectional time limit, across three sections: Quantitative Aptitude (33Q), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (33Q), and Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (34Q). This mock now covers all three sections at full official scale, replacing an earlier proportionally-scaled 45-question shell. All three sections are skill-based (quantitative calculation, data interpretation and logical puzzles, vocabulary and reading comprehension), not fact-recall, so no section needed excluding for content-risk reasons.
