INET Mock Test 2026
A free INET mock test series for the Indian Navy officer entry examination. It runs 100 questions in 2 hours for 400 marks, across four equal sections of 25 questions and 100 marks each. Every INET online test here is free to attempt and returns a section-wise result.
Every section carries its own qualifying minimum, and that is what makes INET different from a paper you can play to your strengths. English, Reasoning and Numerical Ability, General Science and Mathematical Aptitude, and General Knowledge are 25 questions and 100 marks each, and a candidate who scores heavily across three of them and falls below the minimum in the fourth does not qualify, whatever the total says. So the section you are weakest in sets your outcome, not the section you are best in, and preparation time belongs there rather than on widening a lead you cannot spend. Marking is 4 up against 1 off, which sets the attempt threshold at one in five: worth taking on anything you can narrow, in the qualifying section you are weakest in above all.

The official INET written exam has 100 questions for 400 marks in 2 hours, across four equal sections (25 questions, 100 marks each, 4 marks per correct answer, 1 mark deducted per wrong answer): English, Reasoning and Numerical Ability, General Science and Mathematical Aptitude, and General Knowledge, each requiring a separate 40% qualifying minimum. This mock covers English and Reasoning and Numerical Ability only, in the same equal proportion: 24 questions (12 each) in 29 minutes. General Science and Mathematical Aptitude is not covered, since the Navy officially bundles calculation-safe Mathematical Aptitude together with General Science facts as a single section with no published internal question-count split, so the two cannot be honestly separated. General Knowledge is excluded outright, since it depends on facts that carry higher correctness risk for self-authored content.
