UKPSC PCS: second paper splits 80 aptitude, 7 English, 13 Hindi
Added Source checked
The commission's detailed scheme puts the General Aptitude paper at 100 questions for 150 marks in two hours, 1.5 marks per correct answer and 0.375 deducted. It is qualifying at 33 per cent.
What students should do
- Prepare the Hindi comprehension and grammar block. It carries 13 of the 100 questions, nearly twice the English share.
- Treat 33 per cent as the target. The paper is qualifying, so its marks do not count towards the prelims merit.
