MPPSC 2026: Paper II qualifying bar moves to 40 and 30 per cent

The 2026 exam plan sets Paper II minimums at 40 per cent for unreserved candidates and unreserved women, and 30 per cent for SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PwD. The 33 per cent figure still widely quoted belongs to the older scheme.
What students should do
- Check your category bar before setting a target. Unreserved candidates need 40 per cent, reserved categories 30.
- Ignore preparation material still quoting 33 per cent for Paper II. It predates the 2026 scheme.
