Frequently asked questions
Is this an official ICAI question paper?
No. It is an independent practice mock containing original questions mapped to the official CA Foundation Paper 3 (Quantitative Aptitude) syllabus.
What are the CA Foundation passing marks?
You need at least 40% in each of the four papers and 50% aggregate across all four combined. Both conditions must be met in the same attempt: clearing every paper individually isn't enough if your aggregate falls short.
Is there negative marking in CA Foundation Paper 3?
Yes. Each wrong answer deducts 0.25 marks. There is no deduction for an unattempted question.
Why doesn't this mock cover CA Foundation's other three papers?
Paper 4 (Business Economics) leans on economics facts and current context that carry higher correctness risk for self-authored content. Papers 1 and 2 (Accounting and Business Laws) are subjective, descriptive-answer papers, not multiple choice, so they don't fit this site's format at all.
