SSC JE Paper I: Why This Site Only Covers a Quarter of the Exam

Why Paper II isn't built here
A Civil & Structural candidate's General Engineering paper covers building materials, surveying, and structural analysis. An Electrical candidate's covers circuit theory and machines. A Mechanical candidate's covers thermodynamics and strength of materials. These are not variations on one shared technical core; they are three separate professional syllabi that happen to share a paper name. Building one generic "General Engineering" mock would mean covering one discipline accurately while silently misrepresenting the other two, which this site avoids the same way it avoids RRB Paramedical's post-specific Professional Ability section.
What Paper I actually tests
Paper I is common to every discipline: General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Awareness, 50 questions each, on one continuous 120-minute timer with no sectional lock. Since Paper I and Paper II scores are normalized and combined for the final merit list, a strong Paper I score genuinely matters, it is just worth being clear-eyed that it represents 100 of the 400 total marks, not the exam as a whole.
