JAMB UTME Exam Pattern

JAMB UTME (Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination)

The JAMB UTME exam pattern below is checked stage by stage, so one stage cannot inherit another stage's scoring rules.

UTME

Review pending

Every candidate sits Use of English plus three subjects chosen to match the course applied for, so there is no single national subject list: the four above are this mock’s combination, the science combination, not a fixed exam structure. The overall shape (180 questions, 60 in Use of English and 40 in each of the other three, two hours, 400 marks scaled across the four subjects at 100 each, and no penalty for a wrong answer) is consistently reported across multiple independent current sources. The official JAMB brochure could not be independently read in this environment: jamb.gov.ng is unreachable from the network this site is built on. Status is marked review-pending for that reason, and stays there until the primary source is read. This site covers Use of English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Government, Economics and Literature-in-English are not built, because they turn on current Nigerian civic and economic facts that need checkable sourcing rather than internally-verifiable calculation or language skill, and questions on the JAMB-recommended novel are excluded for the same reason.
